summRegional VET Dialogue in Dilijan: Strengthening Regional Cooperation in Vocational Education
Last week, the picturesque town of Dilijan, Armenia welcomed VET professionals, institutional leaders, and policy experts from Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova for a dynamic regional summit aimed at enhancing cooperation within the Eastern Partnership region.
The event provided a space for knowledge exchange, joint reflection, and strategic planning to strengthen vocational education systems through collaboration and innovation.
 Key highlights included:
National showcases of effective VET policies, public-private partnerships, and institutional development
Thought-provoking discussions on dual education models, skills anticipation, and youth mobility
Hands-on workshops to identify shared challenges and co-develop practical solutions
Interactive group sessions focused on building sustainable cross-border cooperation mechanisms
One of the key outcomes of the summit is the development of joint insights and roadmap that will be presented at the Cross-Regional Stakeholders Summit in Brussels in June 2025, ensuring that regional voices shape the broader Eastern Partnership VET agenda.
The event concluded with a strong commitment to deepening cooperation, fostering innovation, and equipping VET systems to better respond to the needs of learners and labor markets across the Eastern Partnership region.
Summit has been organized in close partnership with the Ministry of Education, Schience, Culture of Sports of The Republic of Armenia.
MÖBIUS is funded by the European Union. Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen cross-regional cooperation in Vocational Education and Training (VET) across Central Europe, the Eastern Partnership countries, and the Western Balkans. By fostering international collaboration and organizing summits and study visits, we are working towards a more connected, future-ready VET landscape.
